well, I dunno if you guys know about the ickle subcultures in England
(cos I'm assuming you're American?! Quote: 'awesome'. Real people
don't say that - only in American films.)

Well, we have 'preps' but they're called townies/trendies. I think
they are the same people. We don't really have very many nerds, not as
many as you lot do. Actually most of them are really nice people.
We have goths and punks (they're all my friends :) )
BUT we also have 'grungies'. Actually, grunge is what all the
townies/preps call the different people. So if you don't follow the
fashion, listen to rock music, or I dunno, just act more intelligent
than them, you are therefore a 'grungy'. Different parts of england we
are called different things .... sometimes we get called greebo. It
just depends where you live. But I'm a weird mixture of metalhead,
goth, punk, and grungy. But mostly goth I think. So yeah, I searched
for 'defenestration' on the web cos they're a cool british metal
band

over my bitterness over loosing Channel Z. Thank you much. Leslie, thank

Gee Courtney, thanks for visiting my page. Few responses to your
comments.
a) There is a difference between Catholicism and Christianity. One is
a religion, the other is a relationship.
b) why do you plan to become a nun? Are you going to clean up your
language prior to that event?
c) you are correct that God loves everyone, but are you advocating that
God allows everyone to do whatever pleases them and no one should say
anything about it?? Ever heard of the 10 commandments?
d) I love my fellow human, but just as Jesus did when he ate with
sinners, I do not PARTAKE in their sin.
d) Your comment - "I hope that you reconsider, though I know that you
shall not" - you are pre-judging me, something which you accuse me of
doing because I choose to not support Disney.

In closing, if you re-read your comments to me, you will find that you
are just the same as you claim I am. Someone who doesn't like what
they don't agree with.

Pretty cool, Courtney. I liked 3/4 of the articles, and the last 1/4,
I just didn't get. But anyway...good luck keeping this thing going.
To bad you can't advertise somewhere. PS-- Can i wrtie and article?

Well, Carolyn, thanks for dropping by...br Nice 'zine, C-dawg! I
really enjoy it. Lesli's aritcle was hilarious. Puttmann quite enjoyed
what she read of it, before she remembered that her study hall was
supposed to be devoted to Chem homework due next bell. (Peggy actually
did hers last night... how scary!)br
Okay, I'm off to memorize my Latin thingie that was supposed to be
done...er...Last Friday. br Yes, be semi-thankful that I actually
wrote my segment... If you enjoyed it at all. I'll try to focus less on
my own little world next time. ^_^ br
